Milli Folklor is an academic journal devoted to the study of folklore and intangible cultural heritage in Turkey and other Turkic-speaking countries. The aim of the journal is to elevate these studies from the local level to the national, regional and even international level, and to promote the prominence of Turkish folklore and intangible cultural heritage studies on a global scale.

It has been dedicated to the publication of field collection, evaluation and research materials on folklore in Turkey and the Turkic world, as well as scholarly articles dealing with folklore and intangible cultural heritage theory and methodology. The journal has a wide variety of articles, including theoretical and methodological research articles, as well as academic articles with important contributions to the preservation and inheritance of folklore and intangible cultural heritage. Through these contents, the journal not only promotes the in-depth development of academic research, but also provides the public with a channel to understand and contact the latest achievements of folklore and intangible cultural heritage.
