Indian Historical Review

The Indian Historical Review is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on research interests in all fields of historical studies from early to contemporary times. Although its focus is on the Indian subcontinent, it also carries historical works from other regions of the world. It is an academic journal dedicated to urban design, planning, architecture, and landscape design in the Islamic world, covering the Middle East, parts of Africa, Asia, and the more recent geographical distribution of Islam worldwide. This journal pays special attention to detailed analysis of the practical, historical, and theoretical aspects of architecture, while also focusing on both design and acceptance. In addition, IJIA also pays special attention to contemporary architecture and urban design related to socio-cultural history, geography, politics, aesthetics, technology, and preservation. This journal is cross-cultural and interdisciplinary, aiming to analyze and explain issues related to the built environment in the covered regions, making significant contributions to knowledge in this field.
